by Helmut Harjono | Friday 03 July, 2009: This collection really looks cool. The only thing that holds me back from getting one is the reception problem that many people have encountered. If it really has a great impact on the reception, then there's no point of getting one.

Does anyone have any idea about the adverse signal impact of the casing in Singapore? Is it really that bad? Or could someone from more thing make some comments/explanation about this? I believe there are many more people out there who would like to know the answer for this question. Thanks in advance.

It's minimally invaisive design-wise, but protects every part of the phone- there`s not one scratch on the phone itself, and i've dropped it wayyy toooo many times. Definitely go for this one :)

It fits perfectly. However, the mirrored screen protector was warped and would not stick to the phone. I cleaned the iPhone surface with microfiber wipes to be sure it was free of dust and oils. Is there a quality problem with the screen protectors?

Overall I am giving the cover a 4 out of 5 (it shows fingerprints), and the protector a 0.

I took the case off and immediately had full bars, then I held the case up to the back of the phone and watched the service disappear!! it wasn't even clipped on! Mirror screen had horrible clarity with the phone on. The ad said that I would get a logo guard, but received nothing. I also purchased the anti-glare screen cover, but it too had obscured clarity, made the picture look "foggy". NOT WORTH THE $$, especially considering this junk ain't cheap! Go to eBay, Case-Mate makes a decent case, I went back to my old beat up case-mate. Aggghhhhh!!!!!!

by Adam Radford | Wednesday 29 April, 2009: I purchased one of these cases about 6-8 weeks ago. To the cases defense, its a sweet looking case that is pretty unique. After putting it on I noticed around 95% of the time I could not even get 1 bar of service at my residence. It was extremely frustrating to have No Service at home. I figured there was an ongoing issue with a tower near my location or something. I decided to take the case off yesterday to clean the phone at home, and not even 10 seconds after the case came off I went from No Service to 3/5 bars of service. I couldn't believe it I thought it was a fluke, so i went into my living room only to gain another bar and hold at 4/5 bars. Thats showing me the case was blocking between 60-80% of the phones reception. Now everywhere I go im seeing 4+ bars instead of the 1-2 i usually got from t-mobile with the case on.
On top of that the mirror screen protector that came with the case is junk, the quality of the mirror finish is so poor that a misplaced tap results in scratches from even someone's fingernails, and then the front of the phone looks horrible.

I had read another review saying that, but thought maybe someone just didn't have their facts straight. Well, it's the absolute truth. Sitting in my living room I get 5 bars on 3g without the case, and 1-2 bars with the case. On off, on off...the bars don't lie. I started noticing when callers kept asking me to repeat myself, and say that the reception was poor. Then when I tested it out for myself, I was quite surprised to find it so easy to replicate the issue just by putting the case on and off. I don't know what the interference issue is...I read something about the metallic properties of the case or paint, but I'm not savvy enough to tell you an educated explanation. All I know is that I lost serious reception, and I lost about 25% of my calls with the case on. It's a shame because I think it's a really nice looking case, and the mirror protector is actually very nice quality. So, if vanity is your thing, buy it. If reception is king, wait until they fix this issue somehow, or look elsewhere.

I do regret paying $40 with shipping for it, I still like More a lot though and I plan on buying more of their products, I just wish this particular product was sturdier.

In any case, here is my experience.

I ordered the silver case for my iPhone 3G and it looks amazing. However, as soon as I snapped the case onto my iPhone, the AT&T signal went from 5 bars to 1. When I removed the case, the 4 missing signal bars returned. I put the case back on and walked around the house to see if I could recapture the 5 signal bars.....in vain. Seems the metallic series case is an effective shield for AT&T's cell signal.

Anybody else experience this?

The second you put the case on, the signal goes down. It went from almost full bars with 3G to only 2-3 bars of Edge. Secondly, unlike the actual screen of the iPhone, the mirror case does scratch after usage. Aside from the signal disfunction, this case looks gorgeous (tons of compliments) and holds up well (I have dropped it a few times).

The chrome color-matching screen protector is nice and thick, it fully protects the screen from drops and scratches. The best is more-thing.com customer service, they replied to my email within 24 hours. Also they fixed my problem and I received a new case in 7 days. However, the Silver case came with an extra clump of material on the outside that is sharp. Within hours of putting the mirror covers on the front of the phones they began rolling up as they had been curved during shipment. By the next day both mirror covers were rolling up and off the phone and not usable. One of the ladies has no reception with the case on and has to take it off to make and receive calls. I have e-mailed twice over the last two weeks requesting a replacement silver case and two mirror covers and no one has contacted me. I would be cautious to those of you considering making a purchase considering no one has contacted me to attempt to resolve my issues.

The case itself is great and is easily cleaned of finger prints after a days use with a gentle soft cloth.

This case looks amazing and everyone comments on how great it looks. They all think that it looks better than the iphone itself.

HOWEVER, I'm really unhappy with the fact that this case makes reception almost horrible! When I'm in my room I can't get or find wifi with it on unless I take off the case, then my wifi goes up to 3 or 4 bars. My bf rents a basement and reception is bad there but my iphone has always been the phone me and him use when we call people cause it has such great reception. But with this case on, my calls keep getting dropped and cut off. It's such a shame cause this case looks so amazing...

I love the way it looks but I am bummed about a few minor details.
The mirror finish screen goes on fantastically (most screens leave a million bubbles) this one seems to attatch itself quite securely. My only issue is that there is one corner that continues to unattatch itself. So it looks like it might peel off.
Also there were a couple of scratches on the back.

I'm also not fond of the apple logo cutout. It would have been so much sleeker if you could just print one on the case itself but that may be a copyright issue.

Eitherway it's a nice case for the price anyway.

After I put it on my phone it fit very nice and snug and looked great. Then I noticed that there was a slight deftect in the case that looked like a scar on the right side of the phone. This scar is noticable by touch and sight. I contacted more-thing.com to let them know of this defect and was told "About this “Scar”, I’m sorry to tell you that all Noel case have this, this is un-avoidable…..

Normaly a good company would back their product 100% but apparently this company does not. So Beware that all of these cases according to this person comes with a "Scar" and is un-avoidable...

GOOD- the mirror sticker is nice, not difficult to apply, fast shipping..

BAD- The dark gold, on mine at least, looks nothing like the way they show in the picture, my is not a smooth finish gold.. it has lots of dark brown/black speckles on it like the paintjob has oxidized or something. I tried to clean it with a cloth but it didnt work. Please fix the problem if that is with all cases with the gold case!!!

I take it off and it shoots up again, so I would only use it where you have great reception. Kinda sucks that it did that. I guess the iPhone has the antenna all over the phone and this case blocks it. Bummer!

What's worse is that I threw my old screen protector away when I got this one yesterday and now I have nothing to protect my screen, so I have to go out and buy another screen protector. I was looking for a case since my ZAGG invisible shield started to yellow and collect all sorts of gunk at the corners, which made my phone look so nasty and my friends all thought that I was abusing my phone in some way... I stumbled upon this case and immediately thought it was the most attractive case EVER! The way they photographed it on this website I thought would be misleading but it's not! It looks just that good and adds very minimal bulk to the phone (I can't tell a difference). I highly recommend it.

I emailed customer support with no response and decided I wasnt going to send it back to Hong Kong so I JUST use the scratched case for work.

Not happy.

by Wayan Yudhistira | Friday 28 November, 2008: My mirror works really well. In fact its a 100% mirror. It was blurry as well for the first time but it because i did not open the mirror protector on the other side. Appareantly, it has protector on each side of the mirror.

For the Noel Collection itself, im fully satisfied. I've been visiting so many iphone stores but all they have is only standard iphone cover. For me, this is a breakthrough. Thank you for such a great item.

It is not really a mirror since but more of a blurry reflector. Otherwise, it is good as it does not show fingerprints. Don't assume your girlfriends are going to apply their make up with your iphone "mirrored" screen as no mirror is there!
