I confirm that the edges peel off after a few weeks of normal use.
I am quite disapointed with this item.

by Paul Teakle | Saturday 24 October, 2009: I purchased the Three-D Series back in March 2009, looked get when I received it, but is rapidly disintegrating from normal (never dropped) use. The edges started peeling in June 2009, now all four edges are peeling off, it looks terrible now. Same issue that Chris Reale and Patrick Mahoney described in their reviews.
by Chris Reale | Saturday 10 October, 2009: Update since my July review. Case has peeled apart. Still durable and protective, but it looks like crap now. Apparently the faux carbon is glued to an unfinished plastic shell. I didn't abuse or treat the case poorly at all. This all happened through average daily use, with no drops or other incidents. Looks awful all tattered. I am in the market for a new case.

This is not a usual condition for our cases to being peel off after few months used. Could you please contact us at info@more-thing.com for solution? Thanks.

by Patrick Mahoney | Wednesday 23 September, 2009: Same problem as Christine Elliott described in her review. It fell apart. Began to peel apart at the edges after about a month. Looked great for a while, but then began to disintegrate. They need to fix the problem with the adhesion process where the backing is glued to the plastic.

This is not a normal condition for our cases to being peel off after few months used. Your replacement is shipped on 25/9/2009 and thanks for your help.

None have had a better look or better feel than the Three-D series. I have showed several friends my new case who also own iPhone's and almost all of them ask where I got this beautiful case. I told them more-thing.com has some of the most innovative and eye appealing cases around town. I can't say enough about this case people, if you are thinking about getting one of these cases don't waste your time or your money on "other" cases. This case would be a wise investment especially if your an aesthetics junkie like myself.
by Chris Reale | Monday 06 July, 2009: I received my case last week for the new 3GS I purchased. I ordered the case, and about 1 week later, it was in my possession. Thats a one week shipment from China to San Francisco, standard shipping rate.

The case is made of a hard, textured plastic that mimics a carbon fiber type of weave. It snaps onto the phone very securely. It basically protects the back of the phone and the sides. It has minimal overlap, and allows one to use one of those static cling screen protectors without it bubbling up.

I also like how the case doesn't add any extra thickness to the phone. And because its not a sticky rubber type of material, it slides in and out of your pocket easily.

The only "concerns" I had were the hole cut out for the camera lens is not 100% centered. It doesn't interfere with the functioning of the camera at all however, and is an easy fix to do yourself.
I have had many compliments on the case, and an very happy with it
by Ka Phinney | Tuesday 23 June, 2009: That big hole in the back of the case serves two purposes: You can see the Apple, and it let's in big amounts of dirt, grime, and dust which, once worked deep inside the case, scratch the heck out of the phone it's supposed to protect.

Isn't it obvious it's an iPhone? Why the big hole? The black duct tape I had to apply kinda ruins the aesthetics, so I got rid of it all together.

That's why we've the new design of 3D EX Series for iPhone 3G without that hole. Thanks for your advices.

The surface -- although it looks really cool -- is not leather, but a thin fabric. I have had the case for about a month and it has completely fallen apart. This phone is only ever in a pocket in my purse, so it is not like I was destructive to the case. In addition, the case has left large scratches on the back of my phone in all four corners. Perhaps I received a bad product because everyone else seems to like it, but I thought I'd post anyway.

This is has to be one of the best case out there when its come to looks and feel of the product. I believe if you where to paired it up with the mirror protect, then it would be a very nice packages for the money. Look for to new product for the New IPhone in 2009..

and first of all the product came pretty quick, seeing as i live in chicago and i did the 3-4 days delivery option.
now as for the product itself, i thought it was going to be made out of a higher quality leather material.
dont get me wrong, it looks great. but it just doesnt feel as i assumed it would.
it almost clips right onto your iphone, creating a perfect fit. it does not feel uncomfortable in anyway.
although it does get a bit in the way of the sleep/wake button.
regardless i now feel more comfortable putting my iphone in my pocket now ;)
so in the end i give it 4 out of 5 stars

The material is a soft material that will not scratch and provides sort of a cushion for your phone. Extremely slim and adds no bulk to the phone. I like this case more than the Eternity Collection because it will not scratch and its more masculine than the metallic cases. I would recommend this case to anyone who wants a slim, well crafted, beautiful case to house their iPhone.
